Lakeview Yurt is a very special holiday home, set in a peaceful location by the owner's fishing lake near the village of Beckford, in the Gloucestershire countryside. This unique property is all open plan, with a king-size double bed with lake views, roll-top bath with shower attachment, kitchen area, dining area and a sitting area with gas fire. The WC is in a separate structure just outside the yurt. There is a veranda, ideal for relaxing, and guests also have use of a private hot tub, two person sauna, furniture and chinimnea with all fuel included. There is off road parking for one car, though please note in bad weather, driving along the track across the field to The Lakeview Yurt may not be possible. Longborough has delightful views over the Evenlode valley. There are plenty of walks across marvellous countryside, including the Monarch's Way and the Heart of England Way. This peaceful village, which is within a conservation area, has a shop and a traditional pub. Longborough lies between the historic towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, which have quality shops, pubs and restaurants.
Longborough is a good base from which to visit Sezincote gardens, the Cotswold Farm Park, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre and Sudeley Castle. Longborough Festival Opera in late June and July is a worthwhile visit.

Situated in the quiet lane running through Broad Campden, this 2 double bedroom cottage retains its flagstone floor, its old beams and leaded glass windows. Broad Campden is an extremely attractive small village which has many thatched cottages, a charming church, the oldest Friends Meeting House in the country (17th Century) and the 'Bakers Arms' pub, offering real ale and excellent food in both bar and restaurant.
There are many public footpaths in the area including a delightful walk to Chipping Campden (approx 20 mins), which goes through the grounds of Maidenwell Manor with wonderful views of Chipping Campden along the way.

The Granary incorporates an original stone barn and offers peaceful seclusion in a very rural position at the end of a half mile private road. Guests will enjoy spacious, comfortable and generously sized accommodation with sunny south west facing views across farmland and privately owned woodland.
With a network of footpaths nearby there is plenty of walking and the lack of light pollution means wonderful star gazing at night. It is in an area with lots of native wildlife: badgers, foxes, deer, ravens, sparrow hawks, owls (including barn owls), woodpeckers, nuthatches and lots of garden birds. This is a unique corner of West Gloucestershire, famous for native wild daffodils in spring.
The large enclosed fenced and private garden with cherry trees is safe for dogs. The Granary is adjoining the owners' home.
There is a large privately owned lake nearby (100 yards from The Granary) and guests are welcome to use it (at their own risk) for freshwater swimming and fishing. Well stocked with Tench, Bream, Perch, Rudd and even Bleak, this is an area full of native wildlife such as frogs, newts, toads and dragonflies – with an occasional chance to glimpse a kingfisher.
London is approximately a three hour drive. Local train stations are Ledbury and Gloucester.
