North Walsham a busy market town only 3 miles away is a convenient shopping centre. The capital of the Broads Wroxham is close by and here you can hire a day boat to explore the waterways fish or stop for a meal at one of the riverside inns. Reydon is only divided from Southwold by Buss Creak, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of long ago used to tie up.
