Belle Isles intention was to conserve these historic buildings so they resolved to let the quirks of the form dictate the features of the resulting cottages.

Both Sycamore and Ash cottage are decorated to a high standard with unique period furnishings and a wood burning stove.

Both cottages have their own grassy outside area with barbecue and a picnic table. Indoors you will find modern amenities with a private kitchen, spacious lounge, modern bathroom and plenty of space to relax.

Belle Isle guests may reserve one of their well-equipped boats for twenty pounds per day. This handsome stone building, with an iconic bell and clock tower, built in 1856 to shelter the Castle's coaches and horses, has views over the courtyard.
Beautiful period details shine in this luxurious cottage. An exposed brick wall surrounds a crackling wood burning stove in the spacious, open plan living/dining room.

Outside, catch the evening sunset while making use of your private picnic table. Wander off the patio and into a woodland park bustling with birds and wild flowers, then follow a hidden path to find yourself at the shore of Upper Lough Erne. Peace and tranquillity is here when you need it, so return to your guests and spread the word.

Inhabited since the 12th century and bought in 1991 by the Duke of Abercorn, it is now a vibrant working farm offering a wide range of attractive self-catering accommodation. The town of Enniskillen, with its choice of restaurants and shops, is only 8 miles and there is a pub within a mile. Fermanagh offers some wonderful walking. A good base for exploring Sligo, Donegal and the north coast. An imposing double-vaulted entrance hall leads to an elegant drawing room with a magnificent open fireplace. Fine English and Irish antiques, rattan furniture from the spice island of Cebu and striking Russian paintings from St. Petersburg all help to create the room's comfortable and welcoming ambience and floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the sunken garden and beyond. The Grand Hall, a vast banqueting room complete with its own minstrels' gallery, seats 65 guests. Antique furniture and paintings by Victorian masters are all offset beautifully by the dramatic colour scheme created by international interior designer, the late David Hicks.
