Perfectly situated for many of the best holiday destinations in the area and is opposite the attractive village common which has children s play equipment. Within a short walk are the village amenities including a fish and chip shop pub offering a takeaway service tearoom and fishing lake. The popular seaside resort of Cromer 4 miles away famous for freshly caught seafood and end of pier entertainment has museums golf tennis and Zoo Park. The carnivals in Cromer and Sheringham in August provide great family entertainment. Sheringham offers steam train rides along the coast live theatre and a leisure pool/sports centre. National Trust properties to visit include Felbrigg Hall Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park which has stunning landscaped gardens. Sandy picturesque beaches are easily accessible all along the coast see the seals at Blakeney Point. Explore nature trails or hire a boat to enjoy the Norfolk Broads.
