Westward Ho! is a popular seaside resort less than a mile away and has 2 miles of long sandy beach perfect for surfers and sandcastle builders. It also gives you access to the National Trust cliff-tops for walkers in addition to having a championship golf course. The market town of Bideford is a 10 minute drive and offers high street shops pannier and open-air market and is home to the Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island which is a Landmark Trust Island and world famous for its wildlife.
