Accessed up a sweeping private drive, the wooded grounds are home to fascinating flora and fauna and are home to red squirrels, deer, badgers and Herdwick sheep - a perfect rural retreat. Grasmere village can be viewed from the property and has something to offer the first or returning visitor at any time of the year; from the traditional Sports and Rushbearing in the height of summer to the famous Grasmere Gingerbread, best enjoyed whilst taking in the view from the top of Helm Crag - Dunmail Raise has fine views of this peak too.
