Accommodation overview: Sheenas Cottage is a traditional croft cottage that has been beautifully restored and updated by the current owner. It is situated on the lovely Isle of Raasay, just a 15 minute ferry ride off the coast of Skye. A regular small car ferry runs all year round from central Skye (Sconser) across the Sound of Raasay to the island, with ten sailings a day from March to October. Sheenas Cottage offers a wonderful venue for a real small island adventure holiday whilst remaining easily accessible to the centre of Skye. Once a croft or small farm cottage the property has been beautifully restored and upgraded. The welcoming lounge / dining room has a superb open fireplace and windows overlooking the large natural garden grounds that lead directly down to the sea-shore. It is bounded by mature rhododendron bushes which look spectacular when in the Spring and early Summer. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and has unusual square windows that frame the magnificent views across the bay. Three generously sized bedrooms and a modern bathroom complete the picture.
