Accommodation overview: Glenahuil provides the perfect get-away from it all location on the stunning Cowal Peninsula. The 130 year old modernized detached farmhouse sits on a hillside surrounded by a 50-acre working farm. There are spectacular views south of the Island of Arran, Inchmarnock and Bute from all the ground floor reception rooms. There is a spacious living room with open fire and leather sofas, a separate dining room with space for everyone to sit around the table comfortably, a fully-equipped kitchen with table and benches for four, and a newer conservatory with smaller table and three chairs as well as a 3-piece suite. The bathroom and shower room are also on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with coombed ceilings and velux windows, two with double beds and one with three single beds. The house has a private water supply from a well in the forest at the back of the property. The house is completely private, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The approach to Glenahuil is by a three quarter mile track from the shore road around Ardlamont Point. There is a lovely sandy beach approached by a nice 20 minute walk across the moor.

Accommodation overview: Aldersyde is a large detached traditional stone built house sitting on the hillside overlooking the quiet coastal village of Tighnabruaich on the Cowal Peninsula. Aldersyde has space for all the family to spread out and enjoy their holiday. There is a games room with table tennis and pool table, plus a small childrens playroom with toys and games. The kitchen leads into the lounge which provides a very sociable area for everyone to be together. There is one bedroom downstairs and three further bedrooms upstairs. The two double bedrooms upstairs have a view to the sea. The large garden is fully enclosed with a lawn to the side. The sea front is within 200 metres, at the bottom of the hill and the village shops and eateries are only one mile away. The small selection of local shops includes a grocery, cafe, post office, bank, gallery, craft shop and hotels with pub and restaurants. There is a local 9-hole golf course, tennis courts and a sailing school which you can see from the house.
