Accommodation overview: This charming and quirky Victorian terraced townhouse is conveniently positioned in an unspoiled village which clusters beautifully around Drummore Bay and harbour. The house is on two levels with a small garden area off the kitchen and on the upper level a larger, unique 'walled garden', which is safely enclosed with garden furniture and a lovely array of unusual plants. The house itself retains many lovely period features and offers a spacious, bright holiday home in a perfect location for a relaxing holiday surrounded by stunning scenery. This is an excellent base for exploring this delightful southwest corner with its lovely beaches, historical sites, nature reserves, visitor attractions and beautiful gardens warmed by the Gulf Stream. Ferry trips can be taken to Northern Ireland from Stranraer, local fishing / boat trips are easily arranged and outdoor activities include cycling, trekking and hill walking.

Accommodation overview: In a lovely peaceful situation, this detached stone house stands in its own grounds on a private estate. Just 1/4 mile from the coast, and with views of the sea to the west and of the gardens and manor house, the property offers spacious, simply furnished accommodation for families and outdoor types. This lovely rural area has sandy beaches, fishing, golf, sailing and boat hire. The house has been used by the owners for family holidays over many years and offers plenty of room for a carefree unsophisticated holiday. Older children will enjoy the playroom with its sleeping platform, reached by a wooden ladder-stair. The house stands at the end of a rough track and there is a large informal garden and grassed area where children can play.

Accommodation overview: These four holiday cottages are on a 200 acre working farm and enjoy panoramic views over the sea to the Antrim mountains, Ailsa Craig and the Mull of Kintyre. This is a beautiful part of the coastline, just 1/2 mile from the ancient fishing village of Ballantrae. Girvan, a popular seaside town is 15 mins. drive. The farm includes 1 1/2 miles of beach, accessed by a short footpath from the main road below the cottages. The area offers fishing, golf at several excellent courses, sailing and horse-racing at Ayr. Shops and pub 1/2 mile, plus excellent local restaurants.
In an elevated position adjacent to farm buildings, 300 metres from the main road, each of the first 3 cottages have wondeful views to the sea.
The bright sunny rooms are simply furnished in homely style, ideal for a relaxed family holiday. We recommend a maximum of 4 adults.

Accommodation overview: In a stunning location on the banks of the 'Water of Milk' river, this traditional detached cottage is adjacent to the owner's home ( a former watermill built in 1755) and is perfect for a relaxing holiday in beautiful countryside. The cottage has been fully modernised whilst retaining traditional features and is homely and comfortable, providing a lovely retreat for a couple or a small family - all rooms are on one level. There are flowering front gardens and to the rear, a small enclosed garden with seating and lovely river views.
The market town of Lockerbie is 2.5 miles away with a good selection of shops, pubs and hotels. Visitors will enjoy quiet roads through beautiful countryside to Carlisle, Dumfries or Gretna, all a short drive away. The Solway Coast is famous for its beaches and cliff top walks as well as inland forest, woodland and hill walking. Cycling here is amazing on quiet byways or the more adventurous '7 Stanes' mountain bike trails. This is also a golfer's paradise and loch/river fishing is easily accessible.
