Accommodation overview: GRADE II LISTED DETACHED BARN SET ON OWNERS 3 ACRE SMALLHOLDING Situated in the peaceful village of Hambridge this delightful barn sits at the rear of the owners farmhouse where they stable several horses and enjoy keeping chickens. Guests can often see the owners horses or the occasional tractor pass the property. Close to local attractions to suit many interests and an ideal base for touring across the South West. The immediate area is perfect for countryside and wildlife lovers walkers and cyclists. For golf enthusiasts Long Sutton Golf Club is a short drive and there are fishing lakes at Thorney Lakes within easy reach from the property. A little further afield are the Blackdown Hills the Quantocks and Exmoor each offering stunning moorland walks and character-filled villages. Nearby are the historic attractions of Regency Bath and its Abbey Wells and its Cathedral and Glastonbury with its mystical Tor whilst for those seeking some retail therapy there is Clarks Village shopping outlet in Street. In the evenings there is a wide selection of local pubs and restaurants renowned for their good food or you can relax on the patio area and enjoy a glass of wine. The accommodation has been recently renovated to a high standard with modern appliances retaining many of the original features such as exposed beams and stonework and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin both having TV/DVD. Bathroom: with sloping ceiling and bath with shower attachment and WC. Separate downstairs WC with washing machine. Lounge: with TV/DVD and wi-fi connection. Kitchen/diner: with slate floor electric oven fridge with small freezer section microwave and radio. Use of tumble dryer in adjacent barn.
