With breath-taking landscapes and an abundance of wildlife the Elan Valley is part of the rugged Cambrian Mountains an unspoilt area made even more compelling by the dams and reservoirs. The Elan Valley Trail is a particular favourite with its surfaced paths which follow the route of the old railway ideal for walkers and cyclists with cycle hire available at the visitors centre. For keen anglers there are 850 acres of wilderness water with an abundance of wild brown trout. Further afield is Rhayader the first town on the River Wye and said to be the oldest in mid Wales and Powys Castle a medieval fortress perched high on a rock above its world-famous garden terraces. This stylishly finished accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double with TV and en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and WC 1 further double and 1 twin. Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC.
