Accommodation overview: Set in a rural position, this former station masters residence has been recently transformed to provide spacious and welcoming holiday accommodation finished to an excellent standard. Detached and with patios and gardens overlooking stunning views over open fields towards Middleham, the property is beautifully presented with a comfortable lounge with open fire, dining kitchen and a sun room on the ground floor from which to enjoy the views and fields beyond. Children and adults alike are sure to marvel at the steam trains passing by on the restored Wensleydale Railway - the original platform for which is set beside the cottage (around 6 trains a day pass by in peak season). The garden and patios are an ideal suntrap to enjoy in the summer. The cottage is situated towards the gateway to Wensleydale approximately one mile from the small village of Spennithorne which has a shop and pub, and just over two miles from the bustling market town of Leyburn with a variety of shops, tea rooms and restaurants to discover. The area is perfect for walkers or those who enjoy history, with Middleham Castle, Jervaulx Abbey and Bolton Castle a short drive away. Accommodation overview: As the name suggests, Beach Villa is a delightful detached beach house with white painted floorboards, bright coloured furnishings and wall decorations and a truly perfect location for a beach holiday. The majority of the accommodation is on the ground floor, with access to a neat enclosed garden and a spacious elevated decked patio with bench/tables, a barbecue and boasting simply the most spectacular views over the beach and out to sea. The first floor is accessed by a quirky "paddle" wooden staircase which is steeper than normal, and leads into an unusual bedroom with limited headroom in certain places - most suited to children and teenagers.Both the lounge and dining room enjoy bay windows complete with window seats enabling you to simply relax, unwind and breathe the fresh sea air.
