Stainton is only 1 mile from Penrith and the M6, so is easily accessible, yet close to Ullswater and centrally located to explore the Eastern Lakes or visit Scotland and the Eden Valley. The Alpaca centre and Rheghed discovery centre are both situated on the edge of the village.
