Accommodation overview: Burrow Cottage, part of the former Burrow Hall dates back to the 18th century and is midway between the medieval town of Kendal (3 miles) and the popular resorts of Windermere and Bowness (6 miles). The location, just off the A591 is ideal for touring both the Lake and Dales. Staveley is a mile away and has a great selection of traditional pubs, most serving homemade food and local ales. Accommodation overview: Taking its name from the delightful outlook across an open meadow and to the fells beyond, Meadow Cottage in Staveley is an ideal base for those who prefer to be on the fringes of the busier resorts, yet only minutes away by car.
