Ideally placed for exploring and discovering all the county has to offer visitors will be spoilt for choice with much to see and do for all ages and tastes. Pretty towns and villages such as Bruton a small town with alleyways that lead down to the River Brue or Castle Cary with its small shops and museum. The cathedral city of Wells is a short drive as is the Spa town of Bath. Attractions such as Stourhead House and Gardens are a must see the immaculate gardens offer lots of interesting features such as temples lakes trees a folly and shop. Cadbury Castle where King Arthur and his knights are said to be buried and where you can wander 18 acres of iron age encampment the village is worth a look too.
