Scarlet Pimpernel comprises two of six two-bedroom luxury lodges located in the peaceful surroundings of Constable Country, near Stoke by Nayland in Suffolk. They're perfect for romantic escapes, cosy family and friends reunions and golf and spa breaks for eight guests. Spacious and bright, each of the two floors offers a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area which features floor-to-ceiling windows at one end, with patio doors leading out onto large balconies looking out over the beautiful Suffolk countryside - just perfect for a leisurely breakfast or BBQ, a spot of sunbathing or perhaps an evening cocktail or two as the sun goes down. On the ground floor there are two spacious en suite double bedrooms, and on the first floor there are two more en suite double bedrooms. Each of the four bedrooms offer zip and link beds which can either be twins, or can be zipped together to make a super king-size bed.

Up to ten lodges here – offering a total of 16 double en suite bedrooms – can also be booked together for much larger groups of up to 32 guests. These are all within a five minutes’ drive of the nearby outstanding facilities at the family-owned Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa. There is a Lodge Porter on hand at all times to transport you to the hotel should you wish to indulge in a spa treatment, tone up in the Technogym, play a round or two of golf, or treat yourself to a meal in the onsite 2 AA Rosette restaurant, without being concerned about drinking and driving – it’s all so easy. You can even have one of the Hotel’s Chefs prepare a bespoke menu and serve it to you in the comfort and privacy of your lodge if you really want to treat yourselves!
