Accommodation overview: This delightful thatched property in the attractive village of Horning is not to be missed. Attractive accommodation in a superb location, what more could you wish fort? Situated on the banks of the River Bure, Horning is a lovely village in the heart of the Broads. Visitors might like to hire a day boat to explore the miles of waterways or perhaps sit, relax and watch the boats go by - a perfect way to unwind. The Norfolk Coast with its miles of sandy beaches is within easy reach and the village of Horning is in a good location for fishing, bird watching, sailing, golf and horse-riding. Children will love Bewilderwood on the outskirts of Wroxham, steam train rides from Wroxham to Aylsham and then there is the historic City of Norwich with its shopping and culture opportunities. The village has shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
Kosicot is a thatched, single-storey property built in the late 1950s in an elevated position on the edge of the beautiful Broadland village of Horning. Parking is on a gravelled area and a sloping path leads up through the garden to the property which is adjacent to the owner's home. Accommodation overview: Hilda's cottage is a cosy retreat for couples or small families. Reydon is only divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of long ago used to tie up. All properties therefore have easy access to beaches and town centre amenities by road and various footpaths. Reydon boasts two well-stocked village stores, as well as the Randolph Hotel which has an excellent restaurant and good locals' bar. Built in the North Norfolk brick & flint style, with a stylish and pastel coloured interior and situated on a quiet Loke. Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the sea and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine recently refurbished pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top and enjoy the wonderful views.
