Accommodation overview: This beautiful and traditional Victorian cottage is only minutes from the beach and Cromer town centre. Built in the North Norfolk brick & flint style, with a stylish and pastel coloured interior and situated on a quiet Loke. Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the sea and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine recently refurbished pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top and enjoy the wonderful views. No 10 is a pretty Victorian cottage, traditionally built of brick and flint for the workers of the Cromer Hall Estate. Accommodation overview: Bay Tree Cottage is a newly renovated brick and flint cottage with spacious accommodation near to the beach at Mundesley. The village of Mundesley is an excellent location for a seaside holiday. It has a wonderful wide beach by a small promenade and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Some may enjoy a dip in the sea or perhaps just the chance to relax and enjoy the view, whilst children will love to play on the golden sands. There is a golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. Historic houses, steam trains, water sports and nature reserves are all within a short drive. A traditional brick and flint cottage which is approximately 100 years old; and in a sheltered position at the end of a gravel lane. The property has just recently been fully renovated. Accommodation overview: The Old Rectory details
The Old Rectory in Norfolk is a luxury self catering holiday home which stands in its own parkland next to the church surrounded by open countryside, a mile from North Tuddenham. The original rectory dated from the 16th century and the poet William Cowper stayed here when he first came to Norfolk. It was replaced in 1852 by Rev Barry, younger brother of the architect of the Houses of Parliament, who designed it himself. The holiday home has been refurbished to provide a luxury self catering venue for family gatherings. It is easily accessed from the A47, half a mile away.
There is a pub in the village of North Tuddenham. Situated in the upspoilt rural centre of Norfolk there is much to see and do as it is ideally located for exploring the coast (35 minutes' drive), the Broads (30 minutes) and the historic city of Norwich (20 minutes). The Old Rectory is set in idyllic surroundings with grounds covering 12.5 acres. There are large areas of lawn interspersed with mature shrubs and trees. The grounds also include a west facing terrace, ideal for summer barbecues, a pond (this has been fenced making it childproof), and a children's football area with two goals. The Old Rectory is an ideal outdoor holiday break with its own wood: a pathway marked by an avenue of yew trees which leads to clearings planted with bluebells, foxgloves and primroses and ideal picnic spots. There is table tennis in the games room and an all weather tennis court in the grounds. There are riding stables nearby.
