Accommodation overview: Crag Cottage is ideally situated in Keswick, on a quiet street yet only 200 yards from the town centre and amenities and 5 minute walk to Hope Park, Derwentwater and the Theatre by the Lake. It was completely modernised in 2009, with luxury bathroom, very good quality solid wood furnishings, leather settees and cosy open fire. It has the benefit of a paved rear courtyard, where guests can dine alfresco or relax with a glass of wine at the end of a good days walking.

Accommodation overview: The Larches is a four bedroomed cottage at Seldom Seen in Thornthwaite, a truly tranquil location. Surrounded by woodland on the slopes of Whinlatter forest the cottage is a perfect away from it all retreat with the delight of visiting red squirrels. It has the most fantastic summer house (or belvedere) with a deck at the top of its fellside garden, which has chairs, table and lighting It has superb views across the Derwent marshes and to the distant fells. You can walk or cycle from the doorstep and sail on the lake at Bassenthwaite. There is an art gallery and coffee shop in the village and pubs, restaurants and a shop in the neighbouring village of Braithwaite and an abundance of amenities in nearby Keswick. Accommodation overview: A superb example of our English heritage, Underfield Cottage sits within the Underfield Estate, Greenodd, only 8 miles from Coniston and within 5 miles of Fell Foot, Windermere. Built in 1646, the cottage displays a wealth of architectural detail including exposed beams, intricate panelling and stone mullion windows, all protected under Grade II star status.Set in over 40 acres of woodland, the grounds offer the opportunity to be at one with nature, the ancient rhoddedendrons creating a wash of colour across the landscape intermingled with well established trees and shrubs, the lower stems of which attract local deer and other native wildlife. Accommodation overview: Newton Reigny is a peaceful village 3 miles from Penrith and with the benefit of easy access to the M6. Ullswater, the Northern Lakes and the Eden Valley are all easily accessible and the village benefits from a pub serving bar meals. These 2 characterful barn conversations (Lilac Studio property number 118169) have an interconnecting door and may be let separately or together for up to 6 people and situated in the village of Newton Reigny the Lilacs was originally a farm and the 2 cottages were the Byre and adjoining barn. More recently it was the home to Simon Bull, a well known Cumbrian artist and Lilac Studio was where he did his painting. The quality of accommodation in each cottage is to a very high standard, including top quality facilities and character beamed ceiling.

Accommodation overview: Sunnyhill is an 18th century detached cottage in the delightful village of Brigsteer and has all the ingredients for a super holiday within the National Park. Extensive views can be enjoyed from most rooms, (even from the kitchen sink!) out over the Lyth Valley and the Langdales in the distance. There are a large number of traditional country inns serving excellent ales and bar meals only a short drive away. Improved in recent times without any loss of character, Sunnyhill is a lovely home with feature beams throughout and a super wood burning stove to welcome you at the end of the day. Careful thought has been given to provide furnishings and linens to continue the cottage theme throughout and to accommodate the original features of this old house; the floors gently sloping in places and some areas where you should bend or bump.

Accommodation overview: Situated in the middle of Threlkeld Village, Kiln how Cottage is fully modernised and refurbished to a high standard. The neighbouring property of Millerdale has the same owner and the 2 cottages may be let seperately or together for up to 11 people. Kiln Howe lies adjacent to Kiln How Beck in the centre of Threlkeld village along a short lane off the main street. Threlkeld sits at the foot of the mighty Blencathra, which can be viewed from outside the cottage, and lies just 4 miles to the east of Keswick and 15 minutes drive from the motorway. The Horse and Farrier public house and restaurant is within 100 yards and the Salutaion Inn, which serves bar meals, is approximately 200 yards. There is a footpath leading from the cottage directly onto Blencathra, which rises steeply above the village, infact there are so many walks locally your car may be parked up for the week.
