Accommodation overview: Primrose Cottage is a very spacious 3 bedroom detached houses, newly built by the owners in 2004 and are equipped with every modern day convenience. It is beautifully furnished throughout and enjoy views from most windows. Situated in the heart of Pooley Bridge which lies on the northern shores of Ullswater. The village has shops, pubs, a cafe a restaurant, all of which are on the doorstep. The Ullswater Steamers operate out of Pooley Bridge with regular sailings around the lake all year. The scenery in this area is spectacular with lots of walking opportunities around the lake and on the surrounding fells. Places of interests nearby include Rheged Visitor Centre, Dalemain House and Gardens, Aira Force and the Alpaca Centre. Center Parcs is a 20 minute drive. The nearest town in Penrith, 10 minutes drive with the popular tourist town of Keswick just 20 minute drive.

Accommodation overview: Orrest Head Cottage is a detached house located in the grounds of Orrest Head House just above Windermere Village. The house is surrounded by National Trust Fields and looks out over a delightful vegetable garden to lake Windermere beyond. For the keen walkers (or even an after dinner stroller) the house backs straight onto the path through Common Woods and up to Orrest Head, one of the finest short walks in the Lake District (according to Alfred Wainwright). Even though the house is in such a rural location it is within a couple of minutes stroll into Windermere Village, with all the restaurants, bars youd expect and of course Booths Supermarket.
