Accommodation overview: Attractive former mill with the rustic nature of the building preserved, Situated over the mill stream. Reepham, home to Norfolk Country Cottages, is a small market town which has been designated a conservation area and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Impressive Georgian properties line the square and the town is unique in once having had three churches in one churchyard, of which two still remain, only yards apart. It is an ideal area for walking and cycling with the Marriott's Way on the outskirts of the town. The beautiful North Norfolk Coast, the renowned Broads and the fine city of Norwich are all just a short drive away. There are shops, pubs, which serve food, cafes and a leisure centre in the town, with fishing, golf and horse riding available locally. Quietly situated in an idyllic rural position one mile from the town centre, this 200-year-old mill faces south and is located directly over the mill stream, offering glorious views of the surrounding countryside, and providing an ideal place to relax and unwind. Accommodation overview: Braydeston Cottage is a delightful thatched property situated in the centre of this Broadland village. It offers spacious accommodation with masses of character. Brundall lies on the banks of the River Yare which is great for fishing and exploring the waterways on a boat cruise. In the heart of the Broads there are wonderful opportunities for walking and bird watching. The coast is a short distance and easily accessible. The magnificent city of Norwich is a great place to shop, view historic sites and offers a wealth of cultural opportunities. The village has some great facilities including an award-winning restaurant. Braydeston Cottage is an attractive 17th century thatched cottage with an abundance of character including exposed timbers, decorative fireplaces and leaded windows. It is a real retreat, set within large, mature grounds and approached via a long gravel driveway with ample off-road parking, only minutes away from the village centre and its amenities which include a rail connection to Norwich and beyond. There are some low beams and varying levels at the property - please ask if you feel that this could cause a problem.

The Chequers pub in Friston serves a good range of quality food. Only four miles away is the unspoilt coastal town of Aldeburgh, or the idyllic rural beach at Thorpeness. Also just four miles away is the famous RSPB sanctuary at Minsmere. Snape Maltings is just three mile away, a waterside venue for unique speciality shops and the famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall. Snape Maltings offers good food and unique walks alongside reed beds and the tidal estuary. At Manor Farm you can enjoy the best of country life on a real working farm. The farm is approached via a private drive with well wooded countryside and horses grazing alongside. These are superb stable conversions and ideal for larger groups if taken together. In addition, a horse livery is available on site and special rates are available for guests wishing to bring their ponies/horses. These three cottages are part of a terrace that was formerly used to accommodate the barge horses and watermen who worked the River Nar.
