Accommodation overview: A beautiful spacious cottage situated on the edge of the hamlet of Dockray. As the cottage was previously lived in by the owners it is tastefully furnished with a mix of antique and modern furniture, living up to its five star grading in every way, great attention has been paid to all detail. The kitchen, the shower room and the bathroom have recently been modernised to a very high standard. The cottage is centrally heated and double glazed throughout. Five minutes walk away is the restaurant at the Royal Hotel. Accommodation overview: Abbey Coach House enjoys a quiet location within this lovely village, tucked away down a quiet side road with little passing traffic. Staveley is the ideal choice for the more mature holidaymaker as all amenities in the village are on the level although it is equally suitable for guests of all ages as Staveley has so much to offer. The village has a local Spar Shop, traditional butchers and post office, even a cookery school and organic wine outlet as well as one or two pubs, The Eagle and Child offering award winning food throughout the day and into the evening. The village is also an excellent base for some wonderful walks or bike rides into the Kentmere Valley or along to the neighbouring villages of Ings or Crook, a gentle amble through some lovely countryside, whatever the time of year.
