It has a wonderful wide beach backed by a small promenade and a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a golf course and driving range in the village with both horse riding and sea fishing available locally. Historic houses, steam trains, water sports and nature reserves are all within a short drive. Dell Cottage is in a wonderful position for a seaside holiday, being only two minutes walk from the beach and the centre of the village.
