Accommodation overview: Classic 1930's house providing traditional self-catering accommodation. This Cromer holiday home is within walking distance of the sea and town and is perfect for family seaside holidays. Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the shore and offer freshly caught seafood. Westmead is a classic 1930s house which faces the sea and has been in the same family ownership since it was built. It provides well-placed accommodation presented in an old-fashioned style with some period furniture. In a great location for exploring the numerous attractions within the area and not too far from the North Norfolk coast. Bawdeswell is an historic village, mentioned by Chaucer in the 14th century. It is situated in the heart of the county, central to the many attractions of Norfolk. The fine city of Norwich is fourteen miles away. The market town of Fakenham and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, home to Spring Watch, is just ten miles away. The beautiful North Norfolk coastline at Wells and Blakeney and the famous Broads are also within easy reach, as are a number of National Trust properties including Blickling Hall. The nature reserves at Sparham Pools and Foxley Wood are both less than four miles away and the area is ideal for walkers and cyclists with Marriott's Way nearby. Accommodation overview: Ringstead is a small village with a superb pub, The Gin Trap, Minutes from Brancaster, Titchwell and Holme. This is the place to be, comfortable accommodation that is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. An excellent holiday location. Ringstead is a quiet little village in North West Norfolk, just a mile or two from Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea. The village lies on the Peddars' Way, an old Roman road now used as a long distance footpath that links into the fine coastal paths. Here the sandy beaches of the Wash and the striped cliffs at Hunstanton are broken up by a more indented coastline of tidal creeks and salt marshes at Thornham and Titchwell. All the pleasures of the coast are close at hand yet this quieter location offers a more peaceful holiday base. Abbotts Cottage offers tastefully furnished and well-equipped accommodation, with quarry tiled floors with rugs downstairs and renovated floorboards also with rugs on the first floor.
