The adjoining village of Loddon has a good selection of shops and Pubic Houses with day boat hire available from the nearby staithe. Alternatively you may enjoy the pleasant River Chet Walk to Hardley Cross , which is part of the longer Wherrymans Way Norwich to Great Yarmouth footpath or the National Cycle route 1 both of which run past the property. This area is excellent for wildlife with a number of RSPB and other nature reserves nearby well worth a visit. Fishing in season is available from the nearby river 100yds away.
