Accommodation overview: Sands Farm Cottages provide an excellent selection of high quality holiday cottages, peacefully situated within farmland in the small village of Wilton overlooking the Vale of Pickering. The cottages are perfectly positioned for exploring the area with the bustling market town of Pickering, home of the North York Moors Steam Railway, some 4 miles to the west and the lively coastal resort of Scarborough 14 miles to the east. Thornton-le-Dale, Dalby Forest and the North York Moors National Park are all within 2 miles, whilst the historic City of York is within a half hour drive. All cottages are furnished to a high standard and most have private hot tub with others having a shared facility, perfect for using in all weathers. Ample off road parking is available to all guests and the surrounding acres of grassland are available for children to play, or families to picnic and barbecue. In addition to the usual farm animals, Sands Farm is often visited by natural wildlife which include foxes, badgers, deer and barn owls.
