Low Hall lies between Cockermouth and Lorton in the most tranquil location, surrounded by woodland and open fields with views to the Lakeland fells. There is an abundance of wildlife, including deer, badgers, red squirrels, hares, buzzards and other birds of prey, and over 40 different bird species have been recorded.
