Accommodation overview: Sedbergh is set to the West of the Yorkshire Dales National Park but is also close to the eastern fells of the Lake District, only 30 minutes drive from Windermere and is therefore ideal for exploring both areas of unspoilt and protected countryside. Sedbergh has a variety of narrow lanes and small clusters of old buildings including a 12th century Norman church (restored in 1886) and, overlooking the town, is the site of Castlehaw, an ancient motte and bailey castle. However Sedbergh has a new status, Book Town for England, and as such has a growing number of book shops, both new and second hand and is set to evolve over the coming months and years into a literary paradise.

The original farm dates back to the 9th century and two barns have been skilfully converted into high quality holiday accommodation, combining many original features with every modern comfort. Walk almost from the doorstep down to the River Taw where herons and kingfishers are often found on the waters edge, or take a stroll through the woodland and catch site of red deer. The nearby historic town of Barnstaple is just fifteen minutes drive away and choice of wonderful sandy beaches are within easy reach. Meadow View and Taw Valley Cottage offer a peaceful and relaxing setting from which to explore all that North Devon has to offer and are ideal to book together for extended family and friends. This stylish barn conversion is a wonderful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful Devonshire countryside within the owners 400 acre farm bordering the River Taw, you are able to purchase a permit to fish on the river by prior arrangement. An expanse of glass windows and doors brings the outside in, and the open plan living area features exposed stonework and vaulted oak beams. The contemporary furnishings are complemented by slate flooring and a cosy corner with comfy sofas has far reaching views over the surrounding hills and valleys. There is a single bedroom together with a stylish modern shower room on the ground floor, and a staircase rises up to the galleried landing and the double bedroom where a unique window frames the panoramic countryside scene. There are many walks leading directly from the cottage or a choice of stunning North Devon beaches just a thirty minute drive away or perhaps you would prefer to head inland to beautiful Exmoor National Park. Accommodation overview: Ringstead is a small village with a superb pub, The Gin Trap, Minutes from Brancaster, Titchwell and Holme. This is the place to be, comfortable accommodation that is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. An excellent holiday location. Ringstead is a quiet little village in North West Norfolk, just a mile or two from Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea. The village lies on the Peddars' Way, an old Roman road now used as a long distance footpath that links into the fine coastal paths. Here the sandy beaches of the Wash and the striped cliffs at Hunstanton are broken up by a more indented coastline of tidal creeks and salt marshes at Thornham and Titchwell. All the pleasures of the coast are close at hand yet this quieter location offers a more peaceful holiday base.
Abbotts Cottage offers tastefully furnished and well-equipped accommodation, with quarry tiled floors with rugs downstairs and renovated floorboards also with rugs on the first floor. It was originally two cottages and retains many original features including two staircases.
