If you like to take your country pursuits closer to home, the spring fed carp and trout ponds at the bottom of the garden provide a perfect spot for a little fishing. Part of the farmhouse dates back to 1684 and it has been sympathetically extended and restored to feature flagstone floors, exposed stone walls and beams, natural wood doors and oak flooring.
