Situated on the owners farm adjacent to the farmhouse but where privacy is assured. Guests can enjoy the countryside views from the land and benefit from being a 5 minute drive from the sandy beach at Instow. Lots to see and do nearby with Tapeley House and Gardens being a 5 minute drive away. Other attractions include The Big Sheep The Milky Way both offer indoor and outdoor activities and events for all the family. The golden sands at Westward Ho! are popular with beach lovers and offer excellent opportunities for surfing and body boarding. Instow itself has a selection of small shops an excellent mini-supermarket superb riverfront hotel and a selection of restaurants and pubs all of which offer food. Wander along the promenade and enjoy a locally made Hockings ice cream sit amongst the sand dunes and watch the sailing boats bobbing up and down or have a go at a variety of water sports which can be organised on the beach. Across the estuary is the small fishing village of Appledore which has a history of seafarers and ship building and is worth a trip across the water. Nestling in the midst of the most beautiful Devon Countryside, on the fringes of Exmoor National Park, you will find Marwoods Farm. Tucked down a single track lane in the tiny hamlet of Cove and with stunning far reaching views over the lush hills and valleys, this really is a perfect country retreat. The little town of Bampton is just 3 miles away with a lovely choice of shops pubs and restaurants, while Tiverton a ten minute drive, offers a wide selection of attractions including the twelfth century Tiverton Castle and Bickleigh Mill, located on the River Exe and offering trout lakes and fishing with picnic area, farm shops, waterside tea garden and much more. Just a few miles to the north, Exmoor National Park has something for everyone, walking, climbing, cycling or just enjoying a cream tea in the coastal resort of Lynmouth where spectacular cliffs plunge down to the sea. Adjacent to the owners own home we are delighted to offer four high quality stone built cottages, recently converted from the original farm buildings, using ECO friendly under floor heating and with excellent facilities. Enjoys a good size private garden with access to fields that run down to the riverbank and lake. Ideal for summer picnics or for those just wanting to relax and watch the varied wildlife with deer kingfishers otters badgers and foxes often being spotted. The property is only a short drive from the beautiful Devon and Cornwall coastline with its spectacular towering cliffs rocky shorelines and long stretches of sandy beaches. The area provides wonderful walking opportunities with the coastal path and the famous Tarka Trail which gives many miles of safe track for both walking and cycling.
