Bordering a stream that has yielded brown trout and glimpses of otters at play kingfishers and the darting and diving of dippers. With direct access to breathtaking cliffs and waterfall at Spekes Mill Mouth overlooking a secluded sand and rocky beach enjoyed by reef surfers and amateur prawn crab and lobster fishermen. Hartland is 3 miles away offering a choice of pubs shops and a Post Office. Places of interest nearby include Clovelly with its cobbled streets and Sandymouth over the border in Cornwall with 2 miles of sandy beach and rolling Atlantic waves. Hartland Quay with its museum and history of wreckers and shipwrecks remains of which can still be found around the rocky beaches of Hartland Point.
