Part of the farmhouse dates back to 1684 and it has been sympathetically extended and restored to feature flagstone floors, exposed stone walls and beams, natural wood doors and oak flooring. The huge family kitchen / breakfast room is light and bright with fitted units, slate worktops and an attractive decorative stone fireplace, a really special place to gather the family for leisurely breakfasts while planning the day ahead. A separate utility room and rear hall has lots of space for storing any amount of boots, coats, and beach equipment or even pushchairs. Along the central hallway you will find a spacious and comfortable family sitting room, dual aspect and with oak beams and lovely stone fireplace with log burning stove for those cosy cooler evenings. Doors lead through to a garden room with French doors out onto one of the terraces, having stunning views down the valley, and an internal door into the indoor heated swimming pool complex. An amazing array of flowers, shrubs, climbing honeysuckle, clematis and wisteria line the borders and running along the far boundary of the land there are three interlinked ponds which are fed by a stream, the largest of which includes a landing station. This area is completely fenced but great care must be taken with small children. A gate can be unlocked to allow access and it is possible to fish for carp along the banks. Throughout the grounds there are many nooks and crannies to enjoy peaceful moments, and the enchanting woodland area has a quite magical feel.
