Accommodation overview: A beautiful cottage with breath-taking sea views, just perfect for couples. Perched on the cliff top edge of one of the prettiest villages in North Devon, Williams Cottage enjoys breath-taking sea views stretching from Baggy to Hartland Point with Lundy Island on the horizon. Perfect for couples looking for a tranquil retreat, this delightful character cottage is surprisingly spacious and stylishly presented throughout. The sitting room has a cosy wood burning stove and the alcoved window seat is a perfect spot to relax and gaze out at the amazing sea views. From the separate dining room, also with lovely sea views, a few steps lead down into the kitchen which has a stable door opening onto the garden. A fairly steep staircase, typical in properties of this era, takes you up to the separate bathroom and attractive master bedroom where you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of a nearby waterfall tumbling through a cleft down to the sea. Both rooms have stunning views. There is a stream just across the front lawn separated by a low wall. A short stroll leads down to the pebble beach, where at low tide soft sandy inlets appear between the rock pools. The famous village of Clovelly is well worth a visit, via the coastal path, and you can take a fishing trip from the small cove or simply explore the ancient cobbled streets. Westward Ho! and it’s fabulous stretch of golden sands, popular with surfers is just a ten minute drive away. Boat trips to Lundy Island in Summer offer a rare opportunity to see seals, dolphins, puffins and other diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. There is so much to see and do in this unspoilt part of North Devon, and Williams Cottage is a really special home to return to.
