Part of the farmhouse dates back to 1684 and it has been sympathetically extended and restored to feature flagstone floors, exposed stone walls and beams, natural wood doors and oak flooring. This area is completely fenced but great care must be taken with small children. A gate can be unlocked to allow access and it is possible to fish for carp along the banks. Throughout the grounds there are many nooks and crannies to enjoy peaceful moments, and the enchanting woodland area has a quite magical feel.
