Hartland is 3 miles away offering a choice of pubs shops and a Post Office. Places of interest nearby include Clovelly with its cobbled streets and Sandymouth over the border in Cornwall with 2 miles of sandy beach and rolling Atlantic waves. Hartland Quay with its museum and history of wreckers and shipwrecks remains of which can still be found around the rocky beaches of Hartland Point.
