Accommodation overview: Quietly situated recently renovated, attractive cottage. Upton is a small village on the River Bure within The Broads. It is an ideal location for nature lovers, being the home of Upton Broads and Marshes, and located on the edge of the wildlife trust where there are lovely waterside walks and fishing. Boat hire is available at nearby South Walsham, as well as at Wroxham and Potter Heigham. The village is ten miles between historic Norwich and the bustling seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, which offers a lovely sandy beach as well as a traditional seaside atmosphere. There are many other opportunities for days out close by, offering something for all ages. The village has a pub with further facilities available in Acle, two miles away. Watts Cottage was built over 150 years ago and is a characterful property containing many original features whilst retaining modern facilities. Accommodation overview: Force Mill is in a lovely location for a family country holiday, surrounded by farmland, forest, a stream and nearby waterfall (Force) which gives it its name. Go south for Rusland Woods, Fell Foot, the Haverthwaite Steam Railway and the Windermere Cruises; North for Grizedale Centre (the Go-Ape experience) - safe cycle trails, forest walks and the more rugged fells. Coniston and Brantwood are a good days walk there and back. At home you can enjoy the large enclosed garden, well-furnished and with fine views and ample safe parking. The house is recently refurbished and has three restful bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a further shower room, and a light airy living/dining room with wood burning stove.
